a goodnight wish :-)

It’s getting quiet now The wind has finished its lullaby And crickets have gone to sleep. The sleepy stars shine silently, So does the graceful moon. I have said my prayers And thanked Him for the day; Given to his care all my fears, All my secret desires and wishes. I can go to sleep now. I recall soft music of laughter; A memory of you in my mind Filling up the stillness of the night. And I ask Him to protect you As you lie down and close your eyes. The crickets have gone to sleep And I have said my prayers. I only need to give you my wish- It’s a beautiful night, Sleep well my dear, sweet dreams!
